I want to start writing again

But I don't have much time...and no one reads my stupid blog.

A few of my new products.

I've been so busy lately that even a trip to the drugstore is almost impossible. Luckily, a few weeks ago, I stopped by the Rite Aid near my house (I'm usually a CVS girl) and picked up a few things I needed.

I usually have oily skin but in these winter months, my skin is has been dry and I didn't have the right cleanser or night cream for it. I usually use Elizabeth Grady products but I haven't had time to swing by the school to pick up some stuff. I looked around in Rite Aid and here is what I found:

Olay Ageless Complete Ageless facial cleaner. So far, I'm loving it. It has little scrubbies but nothing harsh. Kind of like sand at the beach.


The next thing I found is Porcelana Night cream. Since I have that mediterranean kind of skin, I always feel like I'm discolored or something. I have dark circles under my eyes, and dark spots around my mouth. I put a little of the cream over the areas and I think it is helping a lot. I still need concealer (that will probably never change.



The last thing I picked up was Cetaphil Moisturizing cream. I'm loving this. I use this for a night cream AND for eyemake removal. I like removing my eyemake with this than using regular eyemake up remover. This has really helped with my dry skin.



So I am loving these products so far. Has anyone ever tried them?

I think I live in Alaska.

It is freezing and there is so much snow outside.
I think there is more snow coming on Tuesday?? I'll have to double check. There is honestly no more room to put anymore snow. This is insane.

I did one work out today just to get a taste for it and it was great.

What will the New Year bring?

So I have been MIA. Who really cares right?

Anyways, I had a very nice low key New Years Eve with the FI and friends.

So today it was rainy, so I wanted to get a fresh start on the new year and clean my god aweful room. I accomplished a major project today. I cleaned and sorted all the make-up and junk that goes along with it. My vanity (which is cheap and old as hell) is my only way of looking normaon the day to day basis. It is wear I blow dry my hair, put on my make-up and basically live at for a good half hour every morning before work. It was so dirty, I thought about putting it through a car wash. I spent about 1 1/2 sorting through my junk. Look at what I finally did!

This is the Vanity! As you see, I cleaned this baby up and I can actually see myself in the mirror.

Here is some of my makeup and hair stuff. Doesn't it look neat? I am so proud of myself.

I know when I move I wont be able to take my vanity. Its just too old and I don't know if I'll have room for it.
How do you organize your stuff?

This is not my last chore, I will be doing other things. I'm slowly working on weeding things out and throwing away as much stuff before I get married and move.

A crummy weekend.

Yes, my crummy weekend is just about over. The Fiance and I are spending all our weekends looking at homes. I'm getting really discouraged by it. I just want to cry.

On Friday morning I got my butt out of bed and went to Spin in the morning. Class was in the new gym location which I was excited to check out. What a surprise I was in for, not only was it a new gym, they raised the prices so much that I can no longer afford to go. I am still upset about this. My wedding is 9 months away and I don't know what I am going to do.

I spend all my weekends looking at homes that are crappy, too expensive, or in a flood zone, or some other reason. I really hate this. The wedding is 9 months away and I know we have still have time but the still...that clock is ticking.

I really hate this weekend.

It's almost Thanksgiving???

Wow, the time just flew by. Sorry I haven't posted.
Been doing wedding planning, got ready for E-pics photoshoot and now we are in the process of buying a house. We are going back and forth with offers and I hope everything works out.
I'm really nervous. We found a house that needs work but it has the space that we need. We've been househunting since last March (8 months now)

Work has been hell for almost 2 months. They installed a new software system that has basically made my work life crazy. I'm so looking forward to this nice 4 day weekend.
I had been keeping up with my weight training class every week. I didn't make it the last two weeks because appointments came up and I couldn't go. I really want to get back to doing Spin. But it seems like every since I am have been planning this weekend, I've had the worst sleepless nights. I'm having a hard time falling asleep. Maybe because I have wedding details on the mind.
I'm hoping to clear my mind this weekend.

Did I mention I purchased my wedding dress??? It isn't the Casablanca, its another one. I wasn't happy with it so I went with #2. I am very happy. What do you think?
